Bottle. A clear one, dark amber in color and with a small, light beige head. Caramel and some dried fruits in the aroma, a touch of roasted matls and some grains. Quite grainy flavor, with some bitterness and dried fruits, and a good shot of roasted malts. Dryish on the palate, soft carbonation and medium body. Roasted finish with some bitterness. Boring, but quite decent anyway. 121110

Bottle, 6.6%. Clear dark chestnut colour, not golden at all. Small stable off-white head. The aroma is nicely malty with a touch of malt syrup. Sweetish and slightly spicy flavour, OK malty. Some raw liquorice in the early finish. Sugary aftertaste. Very close to a German Doppelbock, but sweeter, a bit more spicy and with a surprising liquorice touch. Too sweet, I think.
