COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught, pitch black with average light brown head. Aroma liquorice and roasted malts. Very strong taste of liquorice, which kills the oat in it. Dry finish. Good liquorice stout, but not good for an oat stout.

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Dark brown, brief head. Concentrated aroma of aniseed and licorice. Sweet with rounded, coarse mouthfeel. Very grainy and dominated by aniseed, leading to a unique flavour profile - like ouzo beer. medium bitterness. Not stylish, but really grabbing the attention, even of tired tastebuds.
