COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Robust mørk porter med masser af varme og glød. Vi har brugt rigelige mængder af ”Skovhuggerens” brænderistede chokolade malt, hvilket giver øllet en fornem fylde af kakao, chokolade og karamel.

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Deep blackish chestnut with a fine, creamy, beige head on top. Fine duration. Aroma is mild lactic, chocolate, caramel, lidt sugary. Medium to low carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, sugary, some toasted sugars, lots of mild milky chocolate. Lingering dry malty finish. Okay beer, even if it is a bit too sweet (and a bit too sugary).

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark chestnut color and a small, dense, beige head. Coffee, some chocolate and a touch of butterscotch. Not very interesting flavor either, it’s too much on the butterscotch side for me. Some coffee and chocolate too. Roasted style bitterness in the end. Medium body, quite dry, and with some warmth. Drinkable indeed, but I don’t think I’ll do that again, it’s too ordinary. 111105
