Commercial Description:
Named after an area NE of Dayton (and the home of our brewer’s family,) is a more heavily-hopped, refreshing ale in the style of the India Pale Ales from colonial England. Originally produced for the British troops stationed in India, IPAs could withstand the long journey and high temperatures

Taster - Skye Book & Brew - Dayton, WA - Deep IPA aroma with a decent malt balance. A nice IPA the best beer in the house.

Light amber with a white head and spotty lacing. Slight caramel malts in the nose with some floral hops. Toasted biscuits and bitter hops in the flavor with some floral hints. Slightly unbalanced with a small bitter tail.

Hazy golden-copper colour. Fruity English hop aroma with a hint of toast. Earthy, citrusy (moderate) bitterness. There’s a hint of sweaty yeast, and the finish is of lemon and EKG. OK, if light, example.

Sampled draught at the Skye Book & Brew in Dayton, WA
Shimmering yellow, white head, light lacing. Light hops, watery nose. The flavor is balanced but almost no hops. Finishes medium bodied with some huskiness.
