(bottle, 33cl, as Slaapmutske Hop Collection featuring Kent Goldings, 10% abv) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Mildly fruity and earthy hoppy aroma with notes of apricots, combined with a spicy yeasty touch and cara-malt in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, almost full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Balanced cara-malty and fruity hoppy taste with spicy yeasty notes; sweet-bitter mildly fruity hoppy finish with a rounded malt-character and nearly muted alcoholic strength. 7.I.13

33cl bottle - pours cloudy goldish orange with a finger of white head with OK lacing. Nose is yeast and caramel. Flavor adds hay and straw. Really reminds me of a Saison. Sweet with light hoppy finish. Medium body. Spicy aftertaste. Interesting.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. A bit cloudy, amber, medium white head. Nose : strong cooked fruits (plums, cherries), fresh cherries. Little tart with jelly and cherries. Sip : oily texture with medium density body. Low carbonation. Sweet tart with cherries flavor. Fruit flavor gets slightly dry without being acid or sour. It’s still a very sweet and fruity beer. Alcohol is well hidden but one must be careful anyway. Tasty and will go along with wild meat, roasted duck and even some vanilla cake.
