3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beautiful beer - dark orange but opaque with big creamy head. Sour nose with some wheat and green apples. A little fizzy and alcoholic with green apples, lemon pledge, wheat and moderate hops in the finish. Well made, though nothing unique nor sui generis.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ home [as Slaapmutske Hop Collection East Kent Goldings]. Clear golden color, full sized fair to good lacing thick, dense off-white head. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste is lightly malty, some sourish hoppyness and sourish hopbitter. I find it hard to finish my glass actually. A disappointment.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bought @ De Hopduvel, Gent.
Pours clear orange with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has quite a bit of wet dog, grass, vinious, light oxidized. Medium to low carbonation, fat and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has good caramel, doughy, vinious, grass, nutty. Warming finish with some bitterness. It gets better as it goes down (and warms up).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle of Kent Goldings Hop Collection. Nose is milk chocolate, grass, spice and lots of yeast. Taste, is chocolate, apricot, dough, some vanilla. Finish is sticky and lasting with a bitter tang, which I never got to grips with.
A funny beer, with complex aromas and taste, but it never really came together for me, feeling like a number of disjointed tastes and smells.
