MoritzF (8493) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2014
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and firm foamy white head. Citrus-fruity, mildly malty and slightly wheaty aroma with notes of lemon peel and Belgian yeasty spice. Slightly sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Fruit-accented and a bit slim malty base with wheaty and delicately biscuity notes; mildly sweet and restrained bitter finish with present notes of citrus. Slim by Belgian standards but also easy-going and quite refreshing. 03.XII.13

Erzengel (2607) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2013
Dabei ganz leicht hopfenfrisch.
--> Ein sehr leckeres Blond – sehr zu empfehlen!

330ml bottle from Antwerp and tasted on the Belgian railway tasting. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and citrus. The flavour is medium bitter with a lovely crisp fresh fruity yeast hop palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. This is a really superb blond. Quite a shock actually.

Blond, misty with white head. Nose: malts, hints of gras, yeast, some caramel. Slightly above average carbonation, citrus, yeast, bitter sweet finish but also dry. Correct brew, nice in summer but nothing new here
