330ml bottle (Koht Shop, Tallinn)
Absolutely classic fresh grainy fruity belgian blond, fleshy fruits, apple and peach, a little bit spicy like a pie, some light grains providing the sugar and starch. Rather pale, but a self-supporting small tight white head. Crisp palate. Taste not quite as good, less crisp and clear and a little bit less distinctness in the flavours. Sure, there are the classic light bready malts, esters, and even some pungency to the hops, but it’s a bit of a mishmash. Pouring all the crud in so that it’s cloudy dulls the aroma, and doesn’t do much for the taste either, makes it a touch softer, perhaps more bready. Drink clear and crisp, IMHO. Finish does have some nice bitter hops, both a spicy pungency, and a little bit of a resiny bite. Alcohol nicely covered. Pretty solid belgian blond.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and firm foamy white head. Citrus-fruity, mildly malty and slightly wheaty aroma with notes of lemon peel and Belgian yeasty spice. Slightly sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Fruit-accented and a bit slim malty base with wheaty and delicately biscuity notes; mildly sweet and restrained bitter finish with present notes of citrus. Slim by Belgian standards but also easy-going and quite refreshing. 03.XII.13
