3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 weaselkenievil (1094) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2008
On tap at Fat Loaf in Altrincham. Very my kind of drink, I could whack a gallon of this away in no time. Smells great, tastes sweet but still a good balance. As with many beers I rate, I should do again because I was as pissed as a poet on pay day by the time I nailed this tasty little brew. I used the word nailed because I’m staring at the barmaid. Fk me she is fine.

from belgianshop.com - cloudy dark orange colour with a robust foamy white head; estery with notes of tangerines, slightly dusty; good malt body; the initial sweetness is soon followed by a fair and tart bitterness; quite dry long fruity and yeasty finish - classic but good nonetheless

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Huge fizzy white head that lasted ok. Fair display of lacework. Light cloudy golden colour. Aroma of yeast, fruity and light citrus notes. Over the palate some lovely apricot / peach like aroma with a hint of almost liquorish like feel. Medium bodied with a light alcoholic texture and a soft carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavour with a hint of acidic. Light fruity sweet finish.
