Bought in De Hopduvel (Ghent). Aroma of lemon, malt and citrus. Taste of grains, citrus, hop. Nice to drink on a warm day.

Bottle, thanks to Leighton, shared on the shuttle at 80 leagues beneath the sea (or whatever depth we happened to be at!), 23/03/13. Clear pale blonde with a big frothy off white head. Nose is pale malt, grass, lemon, straw, touch of soap. Taste comprises cereals, grain, corn, grass, citrus, light soap. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry and crisp finish. Drinkable but also forgettable - the blandometer is climbing into the amber zone!

At de groote witte arend Bottle states ’ dry jopped malt liquor’ Pours blonde , nice but fading white foam Smell is hoppy , reminding of the hops palm used for hopper/ hop selection Soft carbo . Recognizable hops , yet i cant put ny finger on it . In taste , this is another hop than i thought by smelling it . Its enjoyable , but a bit to weak to me .

(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear gold, long lasting white bubbled head. Nose of earth, grass, and spicy. Taste of earthy hops, light hairspray, citrus. Well carbonated and dry on the finish.

In short: A pillowy bready and fruity blond lager with nice flowery and spicy-grassy hops. Very good thirst beer
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed soon after we received it in Montreal, but probably not all that fresh considering the distance
The look: Cloudy shining blond body topped by a medium white head that quickly recedes to a small layer of foam leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: Nose has a nice hoppy aromas including fresh grass, apricots, dry flowers and a spicy twist. Taste ha that true lager character (I get boiled egg whites when that’s the case, chewy bready malts, fresh bakery bread sensation, low sweetness, smooth yeasty sensation. Plenty of fresh juicy hops that are floral, grapefruits, apricots, herbal spiciness. Lots of very soft bubbles making for a very nice pillowy mouthfeel. All around very “round”, smooth yet tasty, refreshing yet nourishing. Certainly not what I expect from a Classic German Pilsner (current style on ratebeer), but whatever it is I really liked it. I think it is totally underrated despite the fact that the bottle I drank suffered a long boat ride across the ocean. Looks like most people didn’t enjoy this beer as much as I did, but I’m not one to judge, it’s none of my business if people give low ratings to a beer I like and thus make total fools of themselves.

Bouteille de 330 ml obtenue par importation privée via Bièropholie. Arôme: Légère odeur de citron. Apparence: La couleur est blonde-dorée légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréales avec une pointe citronnée et herbacée. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’amertume d’houblons en arrière goût. (Rating #4557)

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy golden body with an average white creamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with citrusy, herbal, and honeyish hints. Its sharp, well balanced hoppy taste carries coriander notes and ends with a decent dry, bitter/herbal finish. Enjoyable.

Belle petite bouteille de 330ml. Bière jaune dorée translucide avec une mousse blanche. Le nez est agréable, citron frais. La bouche de bonne amertume, houblon bien soutenue par le malt pils. Très agréable car l’amertume tranchante en fin de bouche la rend très fraîche et digeste. 7+/10

Espuma jabonosa y blanca dejando corona. Color amarillo oro, aroma meloso y lúpulo, no es amarga, se nota muchísimo la miel. Tiene un caráceter bal´samico muy interesnate
