Nose is quite weak - faint pine, citrus & malt. Not much else. Taste is bready & bitter, as expected. Not really anything to raise it above the pack. Still, not bad by any stretch & would be quite enjoyable on a hot day as a session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Une pilsener classique, à la robe ambrée, au nez plus épicé que houblonné et à la bouche raffraîchissante.

"Best by 6/2012"! Okay, the head is very thin and slightly off-white. Appearance is mango-orange-gold, with lots of larger and smaller, tan yeast chunks, bubble streams, and minimal lacing. Aroma is of extremely ripe fruit and malt, and the taste is of brown tea, baking pears, malt, some building hop bitterness, and and subtle spice. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Slappmutske (Night Cap) Dry-Hopped Lager finishes crisp and fruity. Overall, I found this to be about the oddest "malt liquor" lager I’ve ever sampled. One to try, but try to get one that’s not 3.75 years past the best-by date. RJT

A lightly hazed golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light Belgian yeast, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light oxidation, light candy sugar, light curacao, faint hops, OK. Bièropholie imports. BB 13/04/13.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig met iets van brood en gras. Aparte pilsener maar best goed.

Clear golden yellow, white lacing foam head. Quite normal aroma and taste, just a nice beer. (Velp 201601)

(Bottle, Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels, 17 Oct 2015) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of grass, bread and a touch of citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with grass, bread, cereal, a touch of citrus and a fairly dry finish with a balanced grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle at home from Geers, Gent - BE. Color: clear golden blond beer with no carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: cereals and nuts notes. Biscuits and small honey finish. Lager yeast notes. Taste: light body with good cereal taste. Notes of white bread, wheat and small honey finish. Floral balance. Aftertaste: good bitterness, floral and really well balanced. Really nice pilsener. Easy drinkable as well and very tasty.

This time, the bread aroma from the bottle was about fresh white bread. But from the glass, the aroma of hop took shyly his place. The dominant bitterness taste confirms the dry-hopped label. But before that, there is a fraction of hop taste and the lager side of the beer. Even if it doesn’t really taste like a typical lager.

Strong sweet aroma in the glass. Weak in the bottle. Bitter and spicy brew. Very different from the average pils.
