3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle bought at El Cervecero (Las Rozas, Spain). Great sweet, fruity aroma, typical for a tripel yet particularly harmonious. Alcohol has its pressence but not in a bad way. Banana, sugar and caramel appear in taste. Great tripel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere. Pours a dark orange amber colour with a white creamy head. Aroma of sweet caramel, ripe banana, yeast and lemon. Flavour of sweet caramel, clove, some hay, banana, apricot, grass and floral notes. Medium bodied, smooth moutfeel and a dry, fruity, sweet finish. Good stuff.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
bottle kindly shared by Rune 14.04.10 at Rating Session. The first thing I noticed was the ugly label: it looked really cheap. Golden body with a big foamy head. Smells of alcohol, brown sugar, candy, cola, bread and yeast. Tastes of grapefruit, honey, coriander, wood and, of course, alcohol. The alcohol aroma was stronger than the taste though.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fruits, spices, hops, bitterness and malts. There is a lot going on in here while never becoming unbalanced. Add the nice head and colour and I must conclude that this is a good beer. Had this as final beer after an evening in a beercafé. A nightcap it is indeed.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The flavor is spicy & malty. The bottle doesn’t have a date on it, but I would guess that this one might be a little past it’s prime but it’s held up far better in with the flavor than the aroma. It still tastes pretty good, nicely bitter up front, sweetening up mid palate with some nice pear notes, and finishing dry. Citrus fruit, alcohol spiciness, and bright malty flavors mark this as a classic but still unique Tripel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Oranjegouden kleur, mooie, blijvende plakkerige kraag. Ziet er goed uit dus.
Ruikt zoetfruitig. Smaakt vrij bitter met wat zoetfruit, heeft een bittere wat metalige afdronk. Wel aardig.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy orange with a big white head. The aroma has a blend of spicy pepper and sweet banana. The taste is lightly spicy with some sweet sugary banana and cinnamon. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy gold color with thick, creamy, persistent foam and lace. Funky nose, very sweet, sugared fruits. Taste is a little fruity, banana especially. Also malt. That moon looks comfy. Think I’ll go to bed, too.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice amber tripel with 8,1% alc. great co2 and nice foam head. Great balanced bier with good hoppy aftertaste. The noise is barely and some hoppy noise. Great long hoppy aftertaste with a caramel middle and mid to long hoppy finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle into chalice, best before 3/2/2014. Pours lightly cloudy golden orange color with a nice 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice rocky cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a nice amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pear, apricot, apple, golden raisin, lemon zest, candi sugar, honey, bread, clove, pepper, herbal, and earthy yeast esters. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of fruity, spicy, and malt notes. Taste of pear, apricot, apple, golden raisin, lemon zest, candi sugar, clove, pepper, bread, honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, candi sugar, clove, bread, pepper, honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity and spicy esters with malt sweetness; and nearly zero cloying sweetness present after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a fairly slick, smooth, and lightly prickly that is nice. Alcohol is extremely well hidden with hardly any warming noticed at all after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent tripel style. Great balance and complexity of malt, fruity, and spicy flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A highly enjoyable offering.
