330ml Bottle@Home (from Denmark) - 30/4/2011. Cloudy coppery appearance with white head. Aroma has yeast and some spiciness. Taste has also the yeast and spices but with some wheat and fruitiness. Palate is quite sweet and almost full bodied. Works as a nightcap but i’ve had better Tripels. Average.

bonkiedeaap (416) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2015
Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is golden blonde colored and pours a stable and compact white head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is a nice palate of malts, citrus fruits and orange peels but also with a nice spicy bitterness. The taste is medium bodied and is pleasantly bitter with spicy and malty notes. In the background there is a light sweetness with citrus fruits and banana notes. The finish is malty and changes into a sweet hop bitterness.

Bottle. Honey color, strong foam head. Aroma reminds of IPA: pineapple, lychee, dried lemon, hint of yeast. Taste is a very agreeable, quite refreshing blend. Exotic fruits, pine, lemon, all mixed with a very agreeable tripel taste. Slightly fruity, sticky aftertaste. Not bad.

chinchill (2902) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 14, 2015
330ml aged bottle into a Belgian snifter. Pours hazy dark brown; most of the sediment added in the pour. Nice fruity and lightly spicy aroma with figs and other dark fruits. Flavor: Black bread, dark fruit notes including dried plum, as well as hints of cherries and dark chocolate. Slightly earthy. Feel: Medium body with light carbonation. O: dark and malty for a "Abbey Tripel".

Excalibur123 (262) - Soria, SPAIN - OCT 27, 2014
