0.33 bottle. Dark, hazy, brown color and medium, latte head. Heavy aroma of spices, candy banana, caramel, candized sugar, flowers, and fruits. Taste is also really sweet although not as much as the aroma. Fruits, flowers, caramel, and candized sugar. Light to medium body, thin texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is also sweet and fruity but it is also a tad dry, relatively to the aroma that is. Overall not a bad beer but alao nothing special.

Brune cuivrée, effervescence moyenne, col beige moyen crémeux et nuageux. Principalement maltée, un rien torréfiée, caramel, petite amertume , petite astringence, un rien acide, légèrement fruitée. De dertiende in een dozijn...

Here in the Netherlands, people love drop (licorice swets) and since a while you’ll get even combinations of licorice and toffee. If you like these sweets - you’ll like this beer. A very interesting combination that works. Unfortunately the finish is dominated by a metallic taste that souldn’t be there. Well, another beer…

Bottle. Pours clear ruby amber with airy airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and brown sugar. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and fruit, with notes of hops and touches of flowers. Bitter aftertaste with sourish and sweetish notes. Okay.

Clear reddish amber beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very smelly, spices, cloves, overripe fruits, rotten banana, honey, bit off. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, mocha, some banana, bit dirty, nutty, some caramel. Aftertaste: bit off, soft bitterness, overripe banana.

Tasted from bottle as Slaapmutske Winterbier and from tap as Slaapmutske Bruin (thanks to Dany, the brewer, himself); a dubbel with crackling, stable, moussy, light beige head and misty bronze colour with amber hue. Fruity and purely malty aroma, apple sauce, banana, strawberry, caramel, coriander, chocolate, cloves, a whiff of coffee, herbal hops, some red cabbage. Agreeably malty taste, fruity and vaguely sweetish, peppery spiciness in the middle, light toasted bitterness and herbal hoppiness in the finish, but rather short. Pretty high carbo for the style. Decent.
