COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for the Swedish market.

Ren som ett sommarregn och mild som en julinatt. Slaapmutske Zomer är förföriskt lätt och i total balans. Klädd i gyllene drapering med en molnvit fluffig skumkrona. Humlad till perfektion med bla. Cascade. Bryggd med passion. En flirt med den svenska sommaren.

Bottle @ home. Pours a massive frothy white head and is clear golden in color. Aroma if fruity and peppery, with passion fruit, papaya, lemon zest, orange, some slight notes of grape and pine, some barnyard. Crackers, white bread, hay and wheat balances the fruitiness. Taste is dry and not as fruity as the aroma but with more lemon/citrus plus pepper, and with a bitterness that hits you instantly. Not as complex as the aroma. It finishes dry with a dry rather distinct bitterness in the finish, that lingers in the aftertaste along with hay.

(Bottle) Pale golden colour with big, frothy, lasting, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus, white bread and fresh floral, grassy hops. Malty, fruity taste with white bread, citrus, grain, lemon peel, hints of coriander and a fresh grassy bitterness in a dry finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Fresh, tasty and highly drinkable summer beer. Nice one.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear pale golden with a rather big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small soapy trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and tiny stale with crackers, pineapple, mango, papaya, passionfruit, pink grapefruit juice, hay, pepper corns, dry soil, lemon zest and hints of old white bread and cardboard. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny metallic with crackers, grape juice, grapefruit juice, moist grass, dry soil, resinous wood, passionfruit, gooseberries, starfruit, pineapple, mango, lemon zest and hints of pine needles. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, clean, sparkling and light bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny fruity with crackers, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, pine needles, unripe mango, passion fruit, dried apricots, dry soil, lemon peal and moist grass. A nice refreshing farmhouse pale ale surprise that I very much shouldn’t have had in my cellar for more than a year before I tried it.
