3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 caesar (3946) - Bunnik/Utrecht, - SEP 16, 2004Most difficult name for a beer i’ve ever seen. The beer was quite nice though: cloudy golden color, medium head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty, quite fruity. Taste has a sour fruity note, but predominantly yeasty and spicy. Nicely balanced.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Holmen1 (1075) - NORWAY - DEC 11, 2012
Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-12: en syrlig belgisk blondine med højt skum! God balanse og deilig forfriskende. Bør drikkes kold, da den ble litt vammel når temperaturen steg i glasset.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sigmund (4187) - Tau, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2012
330 ml bottle, as Witkap Pater Special, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Pours very fizzy with a hude white head. Pleasant fruity and spicy aroma, "typically Belgian", also notes of kandij sugar syrup. The flavour is spicy and refreshing, not too sweet, but the finish is a bit short. Overall very enjoyable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2012
Bottle, from trade with fonefan. As Pikkeling Bier. It’s a lighlty unclear one, pale golden in color and topped by a dense, finger-thick white head leaving lacings. The aroma is sugary and lightly malty, with some cellar, a faint bubble-gum touch, some generic fruityness and a faint scent of toffee. White sugar, some pears and yellow apples in the flavor, a touch of pale malts in the back. Thin and a bit flat on the palate, and with a pleasant bitterness in the end. Well, a decent beer, nothing more. 120413
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Borresteijn (3651) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 2, 2012
33cl Bottle at Kafé België, as Witkap Pater Special. Hazy light amber colour, white head. Aroma of malts, bread, a bit sweet, haystack, yeast, dusty. Flavour is light sweet, bread, malty, dry, hay, yeast, nice full on malty bitterness with light hops. Light-bodied, full carbonation that suits the beer. I quite liked this.

7th July 2010 Very hazy brown - gold beer with floaty bits! Tidy white head. Slightly soft palate with moderate carbonation. Dry malt somewhat overwhelms sweet syrupy peach and a little fresh orange. Finishes dry. Okay but a bit clunky.
