3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce can from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Gusher! Beige foam galore. The aroma is of an amber with some Irish malts. A dry and powdery feel to this. Sharp hops are a surprise. Very dry grapefruit meat and rind. Toffee is rich and sweet but this remains dry. Very late some sulfury hops are noticed so there must be some European Noble hops here. This was a hopped up amber ale. The grapefruit bitterness dominated.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from the 16th St Albertsons... Pours slightly haze amber with a good off-white head... spotty lacing... Dry toast and light caramel... Okay piney hop flavor and aroma... could use a touch more bitterness IMO to balance a residual caramel maltiness... Decent Amber Ale... Nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t ever turn one down... There are just better versions out there.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice rustic woodsy aroma. Flavor is mainly carmel malt though there is an undertone of oak and hops in there as well. Not too shabby...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. can. Solid, but underwhelming amber ale. Nice orange color with small creamy head, malty citrus aroma, taste brings some spicy, zesty flavors, tingly palate. Interesting, might be good with outdoor grilling.
