Cask@GBBF2008. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is wood, fudge, mild sour fruityness as well as some wood. Flavour is wood, slightly fruity and mild notes of herbs.

Cask-conditioned at the Edgar Wallace, London 3/7/08. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. An easy drinking session bitter with some crisp malt and a pleasantly dry finish.

Cloudy amber with tiny white head. Sweet aroma with caramel and fruity notes. Sweet and somewhat malty flavor with caramel notes and mild hops in the end.

Cask at GBBF 08. Clear amber. Malty aroma and flavour. It needs more hops to balance things out and stop it being so bland. A real case of "must try harder" on the report card for this one.

Whitefriars, Coventry. Gelatinous waxy lemon and sock aroma. Murky red amber becoming headless. Earthy, damp. Feels a bit homemade. Marzipan, lemon jelly, caramel. Passed me by a bit, but ok.

Creamy headwith a maple syrup colour. not too much of a nose but the palette is really smooth with hints of toffee and cereal. creamy smooth texture on the palette.
a great session beer or sociable drink. dont think it’ll be winning many awards

Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (070808)
