Bottle from a Cov Tesco. Orange gold with steady carbonation and a piled white collar. Lemon and Honey Lockets aroma with some grassy hop, hints of sulphur and metallic suggestions. Soft and gelatinous with piney hints, dunked biscuit, honey coated cereals. Orange and grassy hop hints as it warms. Vanilla, frosted corn flake afters. Not unpleasant.

Cask - The Pie & Ale House, Stafford. Poured with a dense & creamy, medium sized off-white head & a lasting, ringing lacing atop a clear copper orange body. Honey, a bit of sharp lemon and a yeasty, mid fruit tang. Stale, lightly tangy mid fruit flavours with bready notes and a dryish grassy bitterness. Some yeast towards the end too. Soft with just a spritz of carbonation, light to medium body with a relatively short bitterness but a lingering mid fruit aftertaste. A real taste of an English summer, in January.

(Cask at White Star, Liverpool, 19 July 2009) Brownish amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, slightly toasty nose with notes of honey and dark fruit. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, orange, honey and brown sugar. Mild bitterness, medium body, fairly sweet. Decent beer.
