Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. Sunstruck by name and sunstruck by nature, this was a weird beer.
Dave is really happy with the condition of this ‘weird’ beer. Bubbles rise slowly from the bottom of the glass when coerced with a tap. This beer is really ripe. After some discussion Dave decides this beer isn’t right and dashes down stairs, we inspect the beer and sample directly from the cask. Still not convinced this beer is right. It’s a sad Slater’s end considering the simplistic brilliance of the bitter.
