2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 zvikar (2040) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - NOV 23, 2010
Pours golden with brown taints and a white thick head, aroma of cheese, lemon, malt and rice, flavor of cardboard, malt, herbs, malt and cookies, quite watery.
1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Dorqui (1768) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 10, 2004
Compact foam a lot escaping. Yellow color gold enough fizzy. Little intense aroma, without particular scents. Bitter with a flavor of medicine on the end. Decidedly insufficient.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 conor23 (110) - Elgin, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2007
Non-descript slightly malty aroma, flavor is alcohol with a lingering sweetness. The alcohol overpowers the more subtle flavors, otherwise I think this would rate a little higher.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 heemer77 (5013) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - NOV 10, 2006
From a bottle. This poured with a medium gold colored body and a large, dense and slightly off white head. The aroma reminded me of pecans with some light caramel. The taste had notes of fusel alcohol and some nut shells. There were also herbs in the finish, maybe some basil. A pretty bad strong lager. I have had better from Slavutych.

500mL bottle. Semi-sweet corn and wet cardboard scent. There’s some formaldihide and acetone scents showing up in this one, along with a slightly hoppy note, that’s more fuesal than grass-like. Syrupy and semi-thick texture, some nasty hairspray and chemical flavors. Pasty and putrid at times... perhaps it’s carrying some radiation Komrad.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JAN 9, 2006
500 ml bottle, purchased in December 2005 from one of the many, many midwestern shops that seem to specialize in mid-2s Euro lagers from the former Easter bloc countries...geez, Belgian beers not good enough for Chicago, Milwaukee and the Twin Cities? I jest. Sampled from a Zwiec lager glass in the company of some smoked gouda, at home, cellar temp. Huge fluffy though not terribly stable white head atop a very clear, pale, slightly oily yellow body....very, very light nose doesn’t offer much of interest: somewhat stale old grains and gass, light fuesel quality....body is very, very sweet, Karo syrup and old honey leavened a bit by moderate alcohol presence and maybe a tiny hint of licorice/cherry....syrupy maltiness, dries out and gets more alcholic towards the finish, not a trace of hops....like most malt liquors, impossible to drink as it warms. Not quite a drain pour.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 NDmullet (208) - South Bend, Indiana, USA - SEP 12, 2002
Bright golden, thick head, mad carbonation. Metallic nose, light hops I think, sort of sweet. Pretty harsh with the alcohol. Very metallic aftertaste...I’m not too familiar with Ukranian water quality. I lick my lips after a drink, and I might as well be licking a rusty iron pole or something. As a whole, not many redeeming qualities, other than increasing your BAC. Like a slightly refined version of Colt 45.

Lightly hazed darker straw color with a modest off-white head. Sweet floral perfume aromas with just a hint of malt and doughy white bread. Seems to get more stale the longer you sniff it. A strong and foreboding brew in flavor. Tastes of malt, light tobacco, lighter fluid and white grapes. Some wonderful plum brandy qualities, wait I am still looking for a quality in plum brandy? A powerful and near challenging malt liquor, ok strong euro, what ever! I will not let this one warm to see if it gets worse.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2007
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of soap and gasoline, hint of apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter, husky, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 hotstuff (3340) - Indiana, USA - NOV 13, 2004
Bottle. Small white fizzy head with sparse lacing, semi-transparent, carbonated, and a pale yellow hue. Aroma was malty, corn, and somewhat sweet. Sweet, malty and a rather yucky taste IMO. Slightly tingly palate. Not recommended.
