Quite good beer to come out of a vodka-drinking country, where beer virtually unheard of 20 yeras ago. Gives the Czech beers something to think about. Clean taste. Crisp. Tasty.
Recommended over Obolon. Tried it at the well-known Ukrainian restaurant Log Cabin in Kerhonkson, NY, along with their great Ukrainian food.

Ascorbic acid?!?! Iíd rather it were pasteurised. Deep clear yellow colour, pours with little head, fast dissapearing and no lace. Not much of an aroma, mostly cleaning products and oranges. Flavour was average at best, quite malty, no hops to speak of, hint of oranges and mellons with a tangy bitter/sour aftertaste leaving a lingering metallic tasting film on the palate. Urgh! Best frozen, got worse as I kept on drinking but it was a real effort!!

Very light golden color with a white frothy head. Light flavor, body and carbonation with no overpowering flavors. Well suited to drinking with a meal but not enough flavor to stand on its own.

Best local available in country. Light enough to have with meals, tasty enough by itself. If lucky to find COOOLD, good for cafe girl-watching.

This is a tasty brew, mild, but with a forward hoppy afterbite. I found it reminiscent of Pilsner Urquel, and was surprised to find out that it is a lager. SuperStore had 500ml king cans on sale for CAD$1.49 a can. I picked up two and liked it so much I went back to get a flat.

The most disgusting beer I ever drink in my life. Donít export this crap to overseas, if you canít make a beer. The "jigulevskoe" beer during soviet union regime was much better, then this one. The taste is sour, like "braga", on the bottom of the bottle is plenty some kind of crap floating, and beer is not clear. After I drank 2 bottle of this crap, I drain whole case into the sink. Just wasted my money. Usually I drink German or Czech rep. beer, becouse they are the BEST beer makers. But I would to try ukrainian "beer", and I was WRONG. I will never recommend to anybody to buy this "beer". The only good product ukraine can make, its vodka "Nemirov" LUX. DO NOT MAKE AND DO NOT SALE THIS "beer".
