This beer poured a reddish-amber colour with a very distinct sweet malt flavor. It hint of a caramel and licorice as well. Overall this beer wasn’t too bad.

nice sweet malt flavor with hints of brown sugar and caramel - I found three different Sleeman’s this weekend in Seattle and this one was by far the best

Good canadian beer. Hints of caramel and nuts. Small head which goes away. The beer appears very pale red. Bad aftertaste. Faint hoppy taste. Very similar to other Sleeman beers.

Pleasant and refreshing, tasting of caramel roasted cashews with a bit of buttered hops coming through in the finish.

Pours a lovely, almost caramel color with a quickly dissipating head. Flavor is quite refreshing but leaves a sour aftertaste. Not bad but will not search out.

341ml bottle.
Pours a clear light nutty brown with a foamy off-white head. Leaves little to no lacing. Smells sweet and woody with caramel and a small hop presence. Taste starts off with a bland sweetness and thin feel that turns to cardboard ends with a metallic bready aftertaste.

12 oz bottle from el dorado. amber in color. Aroma is caramel/stale crystal malts and that’s about it. Taste is pretty thin bodied, with cardboard like crystal malts, light metallic in the finish.

(Bottle) Purchased at BCLS Fairfield in Victoria for $2. Pours a tan, foamy head with a mahogany body. Nose of tin, corn and malt. Flavour is metallic with a thin caramel base. Not good.
