UPDATED: JAN 24, 2015 Part of a beer basket at the office - ugh. Yellow/gold with a fizzy head that was gone within 2 seconds. Aroma is barely there - very faint corn/rice aromaís. Taste? Youíre kidding right? This could pass as carbonated water - Very slight hints of corn and rice. Overcarbonated, light mouthfeel. Anyone who says this is their favorite beer clearly does not like beer. An embarassment to Canadian Brewing. Should note there is a version 2.0 out there, but Iím not shelling out the money for 6 of them!

This literally smells like garbage. I realize some like to add some descriptive flourish to their beer ratings and use words like "skunky", "sewage", and "ass" to describe a beer, but my use of the word "garbage" is intended to enhance the accuracy of my description. Iíve never smelled a gaping bullet wound, but this seems mighty darn close. Tastes like garbage too.

If you donít like beer, youíll probably like Sleemanís Clear, as there is very little flavor to be found here. Clean, and Crisp indeed.

Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
Single bottle purchased from mom & pop liqour store in Edmonton, AB on 07/19/2011. Colour: Whatís the name of this beer again? Clear? Right...now I know why! Very, very light yellow in nature. Nose: Light malt and yeast. Soda crackers. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, light sour. Faint vanilla traces. Light and void of exsistence. Harmless and a good substitue for water.

Metalchopz (2605) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 31, 2011
Originally rated July 2006. Sleemanís brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labattís Sterling. Molsonís Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

341ml bottle. "Clear" is a pretty apt name for this as there isnít much to it in any sense. Still manages to be better than Labatt Sterling, though.
