Listen guys and gals. This is not such a terrible beer. It won’t put hair on your chest, but it is a Sleeman’s after all. Let’s get real here. A light taste to quench your thirst without the strong after taste. So here’s to you all as I take sip of my Sleeman’s Clear.

Pours very pale gold with white head. Not much of an aroma or taste for that matter. Tastes like water with a hint of beer.

Canned. 2015, NS. Damned near water, yet still better than bud light in my opinion. Not a bad beer, just not much to it. If all you want is something light to get drunk, this will do the job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Second generation of this low carb beer. Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head that has better retention than expected with active carbonation from the medium-sized bubbles. Cereal grain malt scent with some sugars, cardboard and mild chemical hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a mineral water feel. Had a few of these from the 6-pack real cold on a hot night, and it did the job for a light lager. Now, testing room temperature and cereal-hay malts come out a little more. Still, watery overall, but nothing offensive.

Originally rated July 2006. Sleeman’s brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labatt’s Sterling. Molson’s Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

Hang on to your hats......this is sleeman clear 2.0! The future of beer! Good god people, what the serious fuck is this? Enough with these low carb beers, these bullshit diet beers. Watery, tasteless abortions classified as beer. Go away. No redeemable qualities whatsoever. Brutal.

(1418-230415)

can. pours clear extra pale yellow with a disappearing white head, no retention and lacing. reminiscence/souvenir of cereals, faint fruitiness - white grapes and apple juice, obvious rice/corn/adjunct, herbal blandness. soda pop carbonation, light body - watery; bland but dry herbal finish. no cardboard or skunkiness since it was canned rather than filled int heir clear glass bottles. still, as expected, i.e. not horrid.

Not bad for a low-carb beer, but just realize you are not drinking a great ale. Pours golden clear with no head, almost flat.

This beer is not designed for your average beer drinker. It is designed for people who may want to enjoy a few beers but without the heartache that one associates with all of the unhealthy effects of a regular beer. If you’re watching your figure, this beer will do the trick. Although it lacks the full effect and taste of lets say, a normal light beer, it doe do the trick. Do not hesitate to give this beer a try. Once you get a few sips in, and your taste buds adjust, everything will be alright.

It’s an ultra light. It’s not terrible if you just want something beer..ish... to drink but it’s not very good.
