12 oz bottle, Sultans of Swill tasting with tiggmtl and ClarkVV 8. Light apple juice color, no head...virtually no aroma or flavor at all...perhaps just the faintest hint of artificial cantaloupe? Or perhaps I’m grasping at straws...

2004 bottle. YES finally I find and try this beer. I was enthralled by the bottle, clear, no label and a faint faint tint of yellow to the beer. The fact that they are highlighting this clearness is just ridiculous. Aroma. Nothing, maybe some light minerals, or something? Flavor. Still nothing. Body. sparkling water. Appearance. Do I have to say it? My friend and I agreed, in all seriousness, that if you put a lemon in this beer, you could serve it unknowingly to someone, as a perrier.

Crystal clear lightly tinted water with a medium sized head. The beer smells like well nothing. Maybe some malt. Very light flavor with a hint of malt and touch of bitterness. Very light body with nothing offensive. Nothing there.

Had to rate one from the bottom 50, and this is about as close to the pit I can get - bonus, I didn’t have to pay for it. Courtesy of my mom’s fridge, 355ml can. Pours the palest yellow I’ve ever seen a beer be, you can already detect the lack of anything malt in origin. Aroma is very subtle, light corn notes and fermented sugar is all. Tastes actually quite a bit like mineral water, mineral, light light sweetness. Palate is dry and watery. Not offensive for something pulled from the bottom of the ratings pile, you just have to know you’re drinking beer.

The aroma is lighter fluid, vegetables, corn malt and water. The appearance is very pale gold with a really small head. The flavor is much like the aroma with lots of malt adjuncts and smoke. The palate is watery. This is not worth drinking.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2008 (bottle - 11.5 oz) Clear yellow. Looks like apple juice, but unfortunately doesn’t smell like it. Very rancid and sour smell of rotten hops. I drank some, but tasted nothing. Literally nothing. I wonder if there was beer in this.
