No flavour, no characteristics. I would only drink it if it were free and even then Iíd be thinking my own piss might be more tempting.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Originally rated July 2006. Sleemanís brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labattís Sterling. Molsonís Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

I'm not quite sure what supernatural power persuaded me to buy a six pack of this stuff. That being said, here's what I have to say. It tasted like carbonated water with a pinch of beer in it. Feelt like soda going down. Made me feel bloated, and isn't it supposed to be "low carb"?

0.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear ultra pale gold with thin, quickly disappearing white head. Smells like... a glass of water? Honestly, only the vaguest hint of grains. I suppose I could at least be thankful the aromaís not offensive. Now the taste... How do you make something that is both remarkably thin and watery yet fairly unpleasant for the taste it does have? Ask John Sleeman because underneath all the water there are some stale grains. Even the carbonation is underwhelming. This is like flat club soda that someone farted in. Itís with great confidence that I give this beer the lowest score Iíve given anything yet. At least I can continue on my quest to find that elusive 0.5.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Light straw color, small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was cerealish with a bit of lemon and maybe a very mild hop presence.Iím really beginning to hate these low carb brews.Thereís no taste really. This one has a light cereal like flavor and mild lemon, but mostly it has a watery taste with carbonation.Very poor brew to even bother brewing. But iím sure some hillbilly will drink thinking about how there losing weight.Try it once but i donít think theres any need to punish yourself with more.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
This smellless, colourless, flavourless mess is a joke of a brew. Itís clear of all worth and itís very clear that Sleemans is consistent at putting out waste of money beers. Iíve had my share of low % beers but this must be the worst of all of them.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2004 You might as well drink tap-water. At least it's free and there are ZERO carbs in water. This beer looks fine (for a light beer), and smells ok, but doesn't taste like much. What little flavor there is somewhat like wet cardboard.

lets just call this "Sleeman Piss" just most likely with less falvour, pale yellow colour, very minerally, some corn. kinda skunky.
