4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 yjman (1) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2004 does not count
First taste doesn’t do it justice, you only ’get it’ towards the end of the beer; dead on its mark as a light, refreshing beer. Of course heavy lager drinkers used to dark beers won’t like it because it doesn’t assult your taste buds. But for the average, summer beer drinker looking for light refreshment; its right on!
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 Kuey (30) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2005
Good Canadian style beer. good flavour, good appearance, good pallet, no bad aftertaste. Not as good as honey brown.

For some reason I really like this beer for a light beer. it has a taste unlike any other light beer and I like the originality of it.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 pacaus (49) - Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2008
For a super light beer I like it. It has a subtle taste in general and although I do like it and would definitely drink it offered to me I would probably not spend the money on this and would rather have an IPA, Wheat Beer or something I like
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Aurelius (3077) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Mild, somewhat skunky eurolager malt smell. Appearance gets a slight bump for the good bottle shape and the embossed logo. Bland, a little hop zip. Crisp finish, not much body. Perhaps one of the better low-carbs out there, but that’s not saying much. Inoffensive.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 XtraStout (46) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 20, 2009
I’m a little surprised at the ultra-low rating this got.
I’m not Sleeman fan, dislike most of their beers. After realising this was a light beer though I thought it was quite drinkable (helped by the fact that it was free).
Nothing fancy to write about. I liked that I could taste light natural malt as I swallowed.
Vaguely pleasant.

Listen guys and gals. This is not such a terrible beer. It won’t put hair on your chest, but it is a Sleeman’s after all. Let’s get real here. A light taste to quench your thirst without the strong after taste. So here’s to you all as I take sip of my Sleeman’s Clear.
