For a super light beer I like it. It has a subtle taste in general and although I do like it and would definitely drink it offered to me I would probably not spend the money on this and would rather have an IPA, Wheat Beer or something I like

Iím a little surprised at the ultra-low rating this got. Iím not Sleeman fan, dislike most of their beers. After realising this was a light beer though I thought it was quite drinkable (helped by the fact that it was free). Nothing fancy to write about. I liked that I could taste light natural malt as I swallowed. Vaguely pleasant.

Listen guys and gals. This is not such a terrible beer. It wonít put hair on your chest, but it is a Sleemanís after all. Letís get real here. A light taste to quench your thirst without the strong after taste. So hereís to you all as I take sip of my Sleemanís Clear.

Single bottle purchased from mom & pop liqour store in Edmonton, AB on 07/19/2011. Colour: Whatís the name of this beer again? Clear? Right...now I know why! Very, very light yellow in nature. Nose: Light malt and yeast. Soda crackers. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, light sour. Faint vanilla traces. Light and void of exsistence. Harmless and a good substitue for water.

Poured light straw colour with no head. Faint grassy aroma. Very weak malt flavor, and I mean weak !! Iíd consider it more like beer flavoured water. No aftertaste, of course, since nothing there to start with.

Crystal clear lightly tinted water with a medium sized head. The beer smells like well nothing. Maybe some malt. Very light flavor with a hint of malt and touch of bitterness. Very light body with nothing offensive. Nothing there.

Second generation of this low carb beer. Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head that has better retention than expected with active carbonation from the medium-sized bubbles. Cereal grain malt scent with some sugars, cardboard and mild chemical hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a mineral water feel. Had a few of these from the 6-pack real cold on a hot night, and it did the job for a light lager. Now, testing room temperature and cereal-hay malts come out a little more. Still, watery overall, but nothing offensive.

Originally rated July 2006. Sleemanís brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labattís Sterling. Molsonís Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

Very bland. Mild aroma of white rice a hint of apple. Mild taste of white bread and straw. Quick and clean finish. Not really offensive. Not really much of anything.
