rachmeister (6), Iowa City, Iowa, USA does not count Oct 27, 2007 It has a little bit of an interesting bite to it in an aftertaste, but not that bad. I had it for the first time when I was in Canada over spring break, and I bought it as soon as I turned 21. Not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst. Beerman6686 (1263), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 17, 2007 Blah barely above the ordinary, almost all sleeman prodcuts suck pretty bvad and this is no exception SturmWulf (65), USA Oct 13, 2007 Aroma of apple, hay and grain. Poured a clear golden color with a nice and big, foamy fluffy head that slowly receded. Flavor is mildly sweet, slightly corn, also reminded me of a cream soda. Body is light to medium, creamy with lively carbonation. A very slighly bitter abrupt finish that is not unpleasant. Not a bad beer, not a great beer. It won’t offend but it won’t excite either. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t buy again for its not a barn burner. Still, give it a try, for it is a nice beer. Served in a pint. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 1, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007My bottle is labeled Sleeman Cream Ale 64. Nice brown bottle. Pale yellow american lager appearance. Off sour aroma, but not skunky. Taste is pretty mild at first. Decent carbonation. Very mild metallic processed finish manifests itself on the tongue during the finish. Decent session brew. illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 5, 2007 Updated: Sep 6, 2007After having my first Sleeman (the IPA), I vowed to never pay for their beers again. That shit was outright foul. Anyway, my brother gave me this beer- thus I am sticking to my word. Pours a typical pale golden with a sudsy white head. There is not much lingering carbonation on the appearance once the head forms. Aroma of sweet corn, white bread, pale malts, and a wisp of european hops. Light bodied, and texture is surprisingly not overly carbonated. This tastes like a creme soda, but with some subtle dryness and a touch of hops on the smooth finish. Not overly sweet. This is actually better than I thought it would be. Nothing offensive. The problem with this beer is that drinking it is like watching paint dry- which is just plain boring. I just don’t care for the style, but this is one of the better examples I have had from a macro. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Sep 3, 2007 Nice smooth cream ale. There are better Cream Ales out there (Wisconsin Brewing Co’s Whitetail is one, for example), but this is pretty damn good for a Sam Adams style brewery. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/01/2007

Bradrcr (778), Renton, Washington, USA Aug 23, 2007 8/15/07 From the bottle. Aroma is sour malt with some DMS forward with some sweetness, corny, with fruity esters. Appearance is a clear light straw with a medium retained white head. Flavor is light, corny malt sweetness. it has medium hop bittering with some DMS. There’s a bit of sour flavor across the palate. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium/high carb feel and a very dry finish. Overall, flavorful and refreshing for a cream ale.
