COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remarkably smooth for a full-flavoured beer. Our founder’s intention was to combine the refreshing taste of a German lager with the distinctive taste of an English Ale without blending the two.

341ml bottle.
Pours a golden slightly dark yellow with a quick bubbly head that dies quickly. The taste is a little bit creamy and sweet with a bready, buscuity taste. Ends on a small hoppy taste and a reprise of the starting flavours. Thin texture and medium light body. Their on the right track with this one but it needs some cleaning up I think.

Aroma is sweet with a hint of vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel. Taste is very mild with hint of pear. Very drinkable but a bit weak in flavor.

Bottle - Pours a light golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light carbonation. Has a strong skunk aroma. I have a feeling this bottle has spent a little time in the sun. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain with a bitter bite. Light to medium body. This is not a good beer.

Poured a clear gold with a thin white head. The malty aroma is sweet and grainy. Candy sweetness with corn notes as the beer warmed. The flavor is sweet and malty with a mild bitter dry finish.

Bottled. Poured clear bright golden with a nice initial cap of white head that faded away after a few. The aroma picked up sweet buttercream and pils-type malts and dried floral (if anything) from the hop end of the spectrum.. soft and sweet, with nothing really wrong with it. The flavor had pale and pils sweetness with soft butter and corn-like adjuncts.. some mild herbal bitterness and a sticky, adjuncty finish. Lighter-bodied and creamy as advertised on the palate, but the tacky, fake sweetness especially toward the back threw me off.

It has a little bit of an interesting bite to it in an aftertaste, but not that bad. I had it for the first time when I was in Canada over spring break, and I bought it as soon as I turned 21. Not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst.
