Poured bubbly clear pale yellow with an average creamy draught head. Not much arom here at all - sweet light malt, grains, a touch of stale hops. Taste - sweet stale malt, maybe a squeeze or two of lemon, not much else - finishes sickly sweet with a touch of grain. Palate watery yet creamy. Overall a weak, boring too-sweet ale - nothing much here. antzman (313), Clarksville, Indiana, USA

Pours a light gold with a quickly disapating inch thick head. Aroma is a little sour. Very bitter initial sip, but the aftertaste mellows quickly with the malt. Not a bad beer, but nothing that would send me to Canada to get more of. WISEGUY572 (1245), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Mine was draft ... no idea what they actually gave me. Big and dark and almost red ... with a huge creamy mouth feel. Lightly hopped, non-distinct malt. Nothing obnoxious or skunky, nothing distinctive except the great reddish color and the wonderful creamy feel. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Taste at first is quit assualting. Big skunky flavor at first subsiding into a rather "smooth" and non threatening aftertaste. Its like this beer decides to kick your taste buds butts and then make up for it on the way down. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Better than mediocre national brands, of which Sleeman is now #3. Oily taste with cream, like a latte. Ok pour. Dried out my mouth.
