The nose is of citrus fruit, corn and a touch skunky. The flavor is well-balanced, but fairly thin and nondescript. Not offensive. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish. Thanks to my father-in-law, Max, for the bottle from the great white North. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Nose is sweet malt; fresh with the start sweet and the grain profile light, top is thin. Finish is modestly carbonated and the hops run of the mill, a drinkable and refreshing beer and to me that means a lot. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 1. This canned brew from Air Canada on the way over to London was warm and at near room temperature. It poured a large head of foamy white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a excellent lacing. The body was transparent carbonated and yellow colored. The aroma was a simple malty one. The mouth feel was mellow and warm with a mild malt hop flavor that was mildly astringent.

Re-Rate: At home, this clear glass bottled brew poured a small white head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lacing and a softly carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body. The aroma was floral bready and malty. The mouth feel was tingly and carbonated with a mellowing in the finish. It had a mild malt hop flavor that was smooth and drinkable. But, it was rather unidimensional and needs more character. Boutip (2347), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 27, 2004 Bottle: Poured a light yellow ale with a thin white bubbly head that’s disappearing way too fast. I can already smell skunk has a poured the beer. The taste is quite weak with a mix of light malt and a weak creamy feeling. This is truly a bad beer (could be a bad bottle but what do people expect with clear bottle!!!). mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA

Cereal and bread malt (L); lemon hops (L); pear, green apple, corn, and slight rubber aroma. Very simple and light aroma. Clear straw-colored body with a tall, white, frothy head that diminishes. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly acidc, lightly bitter finish with a backwash of DMS. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very soda water like mouthfeel. The bottom line is: um, I didn’t pay for it? dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I dunno -- drinking Cream Ale is kind of like sitting on the fence... you should really just pick a side.
