COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remarkably smooth for a full-flavoured beer. Our founder’s intention was to combine the refreshing taste of a German lager with the distinctive taste of an English Ale without blending the two.

Bottle. Yellowish gold in color with a creamy white head. Nose is lightly sweet and light caramel. Flavor is smooth and creamy with some very minimal hops and caraml.

This was the best Air Canada could do on my trip to RBSG in Montreal: A yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly sour - I wonder if some sort of brewing cereal has been used. The flavor is sour hoppy, with a dry end and a thin body.

Won’t even bother pouring this into a glass since it is a clear bottle. Taste is not that impressive with sweet carbonated underwhelming malt flavor. Nose smells faintly of cream soda and not much else. Cream ales have to be more exciting than this...Expensive it is though. 8 bucks for a sixer which I would pay about 6 bucks for. Watery and blah of a beer

Bottle. Small white fizzy head that quickly dissipated, fine-small sized bubbles, sparse lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow golden hue. Nose was malty with a sweet malty flavor. Palate was tingly.

Hhmm...worst of the 3 in the "Sampler Pack" Tastes a little" domesticated.A nice blend of hops and malt, but better cream ales are available.

341ml clear bottle. Pale gold, soapy white head. Light hop aroma, notes of corn. Fairly watery and thin. Corn and hints of malt flavours, hops are just barely there. This was one of my staple beers in my early beer drinking days, it seemed to be available everywhere and was certainly better than the other macros. Has not stood the test of time, perhaps I just know better now. There are better Ontario brewed Cream Ales - Cameron’s and Muskoka come to mind.

not realy a cream ale, truly a pale red ale. Pours a cristal clear brownish yellow, white head of large bubbles, slowly disapates. Taste is VERY mild, sweet mellow malt with increadibly mild bitter hop, hiding in a giant body of water. Mild carbonation, creamy aftertaste, salight skunk {clear bottle afterall} In the early days, sleeman was one of the cheap micro’s around, and this was their #2 best {better than the lager, not as good as the dark ale}, and it was worth the price. Now it sells at premium prices, and it’s just not worth it. No matter how prety a bottle, the contence is what counts. Cheers

Golden colour, nice foamy head. Great combination of hops and malts. Not as flavourfull as other cream ales yet delicious none the less. Definitely worth a try.
