There are better Cream Ales out there (Wisconsin Brewing Co’s Whitetail is one, for example), but this is pretty damn good for a Sam Adams style brewery. Crafty07 (398), Florence, Kentucky, USA

Very little beer flavor - some metallic taste. A bit too dark for a cream ale, too. I don’t like it. BeerAteHer (384), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 17, 2005 Clear glass bottles - must be recent because there’s no skunk. The color of this beer is as if honey was poured in. Pours a thick-bubbled head which dissipates quickly; some superficial lacing lasts to the end of the glass. Aroma is quite malty and the flavor holds a much stronger degree of malt than hops; also seems as if there’s added sweetener in there. The body is also somewhat cloying as if sugar is used, but at least it goes down easy. The strong point of this beer is its bold maltiness -- yet I’m forced to deduct 2 Overall points because of the way the brewery throws around terms in its title -- this beer is neither "cream"-like nor "ale"-like. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Light golden with a long lasting, fluffy white head. Light aroma of grain and corn. Corn is a bit more noticeable in the flavor. Slight sweetness before a somewhat bitter finish. Easy drinking with a bit more flavor than the macros. Beer Snob (382), Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 27, 2004 Potentially Canada's most overrated beer. Smells like it has a hoppy flavour, but I'll be damned if I can taste any. Weak taste with a tinny aftertaste. I remember this as being a decent ale about ten years ago. Either my palate has matured or they decided to take the flavour away. shorlin (373), St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada

Pours a light golden colour with a soapy looking head. Aroma is light caramel, some nuts, and a bit of floral hops. The taste is nice and the beer is very smooth. Notes of vanilla and brown sugar are present in the palate while the taste itself is fairly generic. The aftertaste and mouthfeel is where this beer shines.
Nice and creamy!
