Sweet malt and light hops and distinct wheat. A distinct "cream" feel on the palate, more than most, well done. A touch too carbonated. Basic stuff all-around but quite drinkable! | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 5, 2006 Cool Bottle. Pours bright yellow with white puffy head. Not much carbonation noticable. Flavor was creamed sweet corn & light hops. Crisp, quick, light aftertaste of sweet clover or honeysuckle. All in all, it was a pretty okay cream ale. Duffbeer (192), Pennsylvania, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | May 19, 2005 not realy a cream ale, truly a pale red ale. Pours a cristal clear brownish yellow, white head of large bubbles, slowly disapates. Taste is VERY mild, sweet mellow malt with increadibly mild bitter hop, hiding in a giant body of water. Mild carbonation, creamy aftertaste, salight skunk {clear bottle afterall} In the early days, sleeman was one of the cheap micro’s around, and this was their #2 best {better than the lager, not as good as the dark ale}, and it was worth the price. Now it sells at premium prices, and it’s just not worth it. No matter how prety a bottle, the contence is what counts. Cheers
