Nose is mostly floral hops, and not much else. Body is quite thin with a decent amount of a caramel malt backbone and a short crisp finish. Not outstanding, but not bad either. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2007 Variety pack from Hegs. Yellow-looking body with a rocky white head. Lotsa bubbles in there. Smells kinda funky. Metallic or something? Tastes a little better than a Genny cream, but pretty identical taste. Had a crispy finish though. Aftertaste was like chalk. The other selections were lacking so I wonder if this is an old pack. sinkhole (179), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Aromas of corn and hops present, but the taste is more subtle but nothing remarkable, it has slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall compares well to industry lagers (Bud, Blue, Canadian), but lacks true cream ale appeal. brewgirlca (57), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours a massive white foam head that dissipates quickly. Deep yellow, clear. Corn in nose along with some DMS, no hops as per style, fairly clean except for corn/sulphur. Crisp and clean upfront with bit of cloying corn sweetness and mid and end- too much. Hop bitterness a tad big for style. Lingering astringency - hard water? Mouthfeel is a bit heavy and cloying for style. Overall a fairly pleasant cream ale that needs work on water to resolve astringency. Quickly disappearing head indicates too much corn and or sugar adjuncts. Good for a hot day after a long ride on a road bike when you just want something cold and wet and overall quality is of secondary concern. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 10, 2007 Light gold, sickly grayish head. Nose of corn syrup. Then some corn. And then, possibly, some more corn. Flavor actually has a few hops in it much to my surprise. Is a bit vegetable/herbal, but inoffensively so, and the corn flavor is at least vaguely sweet corn and not rotting corn. Finishes decently thanks to the hops. Not slimy, has a decent palate. Surprisingly not complete and utter crap.
