I don’t know what they were thinking when they made this. There’s no real presence of anything. It’s kinda like bitter water. Probably one of the worst beers I’ve drank all year, certainly the worst for the 30 something I tried while in Montreal. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA

Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is corn, malty and sweet. A medium to light bodied ale. Malts are corn and cereal, some grass. Not much flavor at all really. Kind of thin and watery, sort of like beer flavored water. OK for a cream ale its not that bad..yes it is. Lively carbonation. Lots of corn flavors. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Golden in flavour and its "pretty alright" Cream of corn only best bought fresh. They should realy lose the clear bottles. It just spells S.K.U.N.K. to me. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

In case I forgot to notice the clear bottle, the skunky aroma helped highlight the experience. Has the "fizzy yellow" appearance, although Sleeman is slightly darker than most domestic lagers. The body is actually somewhat flavorful, although there are is a metallic harshness that is competing with the sweet malts and light hops. Not horrendous, but I suspect another bottle or two would really wear on me. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

Cram Ale: The Sleeman flagship beer? Flagship for one of the crappies Navy’s on earth! Lets start with the clear bottle… Novel but not practical; my home refrigerator light is going to skunk these beers! However no need to worry, this beer was already skunked.
The aroma is not good! Skunky sweet corn, hint of butterscotch, lemon. The flavor is almost non-existent; seriously, it’s like sweetened seltzer water with a hint of cereal. Palate: thin and watery…. Overall: Really bad, I poured it out, and now I have to find 3 people to drink my remaining bottles.

Very light straw coloring, suprised it’s a "Cream Ale." Aroma of a European Lager. Thin body with bitter hop flavoring - tastes like a cheap Budweiser.
