Sweet malt and light hops and distinct wheat. A distinct "cream" feel on the palate, more than most, well done. A touch too carbonated. Basic stuff all-around but quite drinkable!

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Bouteille 341ml.

A cut above the low-end brews however, and a good choice when you need to polish off a case quickly. guil0000 (110), New Brunswick, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Light hop aroma. Light gold color with a decent, white, firm head. Very clean, fresh, yeast profile and a refreshing spritzy carbonation. Light to medium body without the astringent complaint I’ve read of elsewhere, nor was the flavor of corn dominant. This was a thirst-quenching summer beer that we drank well-iced and that accompanied well, grilled food (which we had much of, vacationing by a lake).
The distinctive clear bottle encourages the light-struck skunkiness several reviewers describe (I suspect), though our 12-pack was quite fresh (and you can’t miss it when a beer turns skunky). Sleeman’s should rethink the bottle since they can’t control storage and transport. I’d take this over any of the large American brewery offerings.
