2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at The Cluny, Newcastle on 27 July 2013.
Poured a clear amber with a thin, dissipating head, but some lacing. Aroma of nutty malt with processed honey and golden syrup. Bready malt flavours with some more sweet honey, palate of grain malt and toffee.

I can’t believe I hadn’t rated this awesome beer!!!!!! Bottle shared with northropfrye. I can smell something, but I’m not liking it. Ditto for the taste. Tastes like rotting fruit taken from the garbage. Not the worst beer I’ve had, but this doesn’t pass. That’s all I have to say about that.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
A nice clear amber. Beer is a sweet and malty beer with honey notes. Taste is ok for a macro lager but nothing i would purchase for myself.

341 ml bottle. Nice colour. Smooth. I liked it better after it warmed up a little.

Malty and honey-sweet -- much better than your typical macro lager, but still a little pedestrian.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A nice clear amber colour with relatively thin off-white head. Sweet and a bit malty with caramel and a little bit of honey. Not bad, but not all that balanced.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours toasty honey color, with a nice head. Nose of malts. Honey an toastyness weren't that noticeable while drinking. Wasnt overly bitter, which is probably where the honey comes in. Not a bad lager overall. Easy to drink, crisp and refreshing.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours clear brown/caramel with some white head. Aroma and taste are of sligth honey, some caramel, sweetness, and the rest is like their other lagers: bland. Palate: Ligth-medium. Overall: Not very good, not really refreshing, too sweet. No reason to drink this. Still, not gross.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341 ml. bottle from Sleeman selections pack, thanks Kent! Pours a nice dark brown/amber- dark honey colour with a generous one finger head. Oily and creamy texture. Aroma is grainy, honey, caramel, syrup, maple, and malty bread. Taste consists of caramel, toffee, tea, maple syrup, bread malt, peanuts, and honey. Palate is warm alcohol, spice, and little hints of honey and peanuts. Warm mouthfeel with dominating malt sweetness, and little hints of spice and zest. Overall: a rich, well-balanced amber ale.

Light and kinda tasty. Very sweet and smooth, not much challenge but instead very drinkable. And thats what its all about.
