3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not the greatest of beers. Tastes of bread, grass, alcohol and a bit chemical. Would not recommend this.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
0.341 bottle. Clear, light brown color with a reddish tinge and virtually no head. Aroma of bread, malts, quite heavy on the honey. Taste is sweet, malty; honey, although present, is rather fleeting. Light body, thin texture, and a lively carbonation. Finish is the most prominent part of the beer and actually delivers the promised flavors. Overall quite a standard lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours an amber with white head. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty. Taste is similar, smooth and drinkable. Not a bad honey brown.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
this is like taking a Newcastle and watering it down, then adding some fake honey flavored corn syup to re-amp up the flavor. Not horrible, but not good.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled on draft this beer poured a caramel color with a huge fluffy white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweetish and had faint fruit. The flavor was bready, tangy, and had hintso f honey and golden fruits. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fresh 6 pack from the brewery store – I’m revisiting this beer after an unexpected pleasant experience pairing it on tap with some pub grub recently. Poured a clear light amber lager in the stein with a decent 2 finger head . Poor cap retention but the surface foam laces the glass well. Aroma is better than most Sleeman products...at least you can smell some bready-toasty grains in this with a light wisp of hay. Nice chew of toasty malt up front, modest body to it, some malt sweetness in the front, some balanced with, some woody-herbal tones from hops... and a ripping dryness shows up at the finish..... mmmm decent.. If there is honey in this I missed it what I got in this profile was a decent take on a Vienna-styled lager (a style which is woefully underrepresented in local craft brewing), they could have had something going here, but the body verges on thin, it is over filtered and more red malts need to be used to bulk up body and bring it in about 6%abv. I am somewhat surprised this beer came so close to being a serviceable Vienna lager then failing to deliver in the final analysis....too bad. We need a good Vienna around here, but this may have to do until something better comes around – I like to mix this with Creemore Kellerbier for a summer “frankenbier” – good sipping on a hot patio deck.
