1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 worldbeertaste (400) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2011
Made me ill. Copper colour with a quick dissapearing white head. Not dark Metalic cardboard with honey and a harsh bitter nut alcohol finish. It hurt. Smells of cheap sweet suger and cardboard. No roast. Got flat very fast and gave me a long lasting gutrot. Don’t drink it.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 buielbeer (4) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2011 does not count
Unfortunately other than its appearance and colour, I found this red to be somewhat disappointing. Expected more of an intense taste and aroma. Others do this better.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 Johnsense (198) - - DEC 18, 2011
Wifes boss had a Christmas party. Yeah...... poured copper with 1 finger of head that disappeared before we could raise glasses for a toast. Sweet aroma, some malt, but little else. Tastes the same - nothing downright offensive but fairly boring. Sweet malt, that’s about it. Light body, not overly watery but very little character to it. I’d take it over most buck a beers, molbatt offerings or macro imports but it served to remind me why i switched to better beer.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 kevinsenn (179) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2011
Sweet aroma with some hints of roasted malt. The roasted malt doesn’t come through in the taste though; mostly just malty sweet and watery. Too flat.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Frothmeister (234) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 27, 2011
341ml bottle. Pours reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is dried fruits, with dark sugars, earthy, faint cinnamon. Taste is fruity malt, brown sugar, faint spice, black tea, with mild bitterness in the finish. Very British in style. A little thin on flavour, but MUCH better than I was expecting, and easily drinkable. I’ll buy it again.

Bouteille 341 ml. 5.5%.
