A rich, well-balanced pilsner style lager. Its extra body gives it extra smoothness with only a fleeting, pleasant after-bitterness.

Une lager «skunky» avec des flancs sucrés, mais une finale relativement sèche. C’est tout ce que j’ai à dire. Ni mauvais, ni bon...

Appearance: clear straw with one finger of fluffy white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: cheap cereal and corn, faded grassy hops. (3/10) Taste: mild sweet, mild bitter. (3/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, medium duration slightly astringent and metallic finish. (2/5) Gah... not as good as their Cream Ale - and that’s not a high bar to cross. Absolutely nothing to recommend this. (6/20)

Thanks to Chopz for the housewarming party leftover brews. Pours a small foamy white head and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Aromas are grainy and malty. Flavours are also mostly grainy, some malts and grassy hops. Not much else going on really. It’s still an easy one to drink and not offensive in the least just missing a little something.

De couleur jaune paille avec peu carbonisation , cette pale ale est très conventionnel goût très léger herbacé mais goût de cereale mais un peu bizarre.

341ml bottle. Clear golden with a foamy white head. Flavors are bread, corn and sweet cereals with herbal and fruity notes. Light body, good carbonation, slick texture.

A mass market macro brew but a bit better than most in this category and a bit better than I expected. It is easy drinking and has a grassy aroma but has a little bit of skunkiness which is actually a bit pleasant and gives the beer a bit more taste than most beers of this category. Not a great beer by any means and certainly not a beer I would buy given a choice but I would buy it over most other macro beers of this style.

Bottle. Clear gold with no head. Fruity, slightly bready and crisp. Standard cheap lager.

341 ml bottle from biggjonstudd. neutral aroma. simple flavour, a little adjucty, not the worst pale lager but could be a lot better.

CLEAR 341ml bottle courtesy of G. I will try to be optimistic - but 1) Sleeman 2) pale lager 3) clear bottle - not bloody likely. Here goes. Very pale oily-looking gold with a large frothy white head (3-). Smell is on the border between "not good" and "ick" - burnt weeds and vaguely sugary with a little over-chlorinated peed-in swimming pool. Taste - better - still too sweet and a bit weedy, but not boozy or harsh - if I squint at it this is almost a 6-. Incredibly thin body - has the mouthfeel of maple sap (slightly syrupy yet watery too) with virtually no carbonation - its best feature is a quick finish and, apart from a real sugary impression, no aftertaste ... if you like Bud (you sick, sick person) you’ll probably like this.

Pours a really clear golden with a high white head that leaves nice lacing but fizzes out rapidly. Nose is of corn and grass. A little chemical as well. Taste is pretty much void but still a little bitter. Hay. Body is light and carbonation aggressive. Watery. Some odd metal in the finish. Meh.
