Drawing on the legend of the Sleeping Giant and Silver Islet, our cold weather offering is not brweed to be avoided and make you turn back to shore. In keeping with our other daily drinking beers, our Skullrock Stout is imminently drinkable pint after pint, even for stout first-timers. Slight sweet with a richly roasted grain and chocolate flavour. The oats make their presence knwn in the uniquely smooth silkiness of our beer. the Skullrock’s profile is complex with 6 different malts and toasted oats, and balanced by a single aromatic English hop addition. Enjoy our oatmeal stout from fall through winter.

Black color with a small white head. The aroma is roasted malt, mild coffee, some hops and some dryness. The flavor is roasted malt, hops, some bitterness, licorice and some coffee notes. Tasty. Robust.

Pours black with a small, off-white head. Aroma is of roast malts and coffee. Taste echoes the aroma, with the roast malts especially coming alive quite nicely. Dry finish, dominated by the coffee taste. Very satisfying.

Draft. Near black in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of wet espresso grounds and vanilla. Flavors are a nice combination of coffee, mild ash, toasted hazelnut and cacao nibs. Light bodied and highly drinkable. Very dry for a "Sweet stout" in my opinion.

[7918-20151112] Mini-growler. Light crusty charcoal aroma. Slightly hazy, dark brown mahogany body with a quick foamy tan head. Roasty bread crumbs and toasted grains. Medium body. Good, easy to drink. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Dark brown pour, not totally black. Small beige head. Sweet, very roasty aroma. Subtle notes of vanilla and coffee, with some earthy hops. Good carb, solid mouth feel. The finish is incredibly roasty and satisfying. Some nuttiness, and coffee, with a great lingering roastiness and a medium bitterness. A great solid stout.

Draft - Sweet dark roast with a light touch of coffee. Dirty brown with a decent brown head. Medium roast, light coffee and some dark fruit. Pretty mellow for an oatmeal, but very drinkable.

Pour at Griffin pub in Bracebridge is tar sands dark with a thin sheet of foam on top. First sip brings a brisk stout: roasted coffee, muted cocoa, slight bitterness. A solid stout that is highly drinkable.
