Created with pale, malted barley, European hops, and special aromatic hops and a subtle touch of blueberry in the finish. The best selling blueberry ale in America

Draft at SLO. Nose of tons of blueberries. Clear amber with a medium white head. Flavor is blueberries and grainy wheat.

Tried at the brewpub in downtown Paso Robles after a day of visiting wineries. Man, the wineries ROCK here. What an awesome day. What a better way to finish off the day than to sit down with a sampler platter of ice cold uber-crappy beer. Well, I gotta admit. This beer looks fantastic, and smells great too. Fresh blueberries bobbing up and down in a sea of yellow-amber water, with a smooth creamy white head. My wife thought the beer was great. Taste is yucky corn-syrup vegetal blechiness, but whatever, I’m happy.

Draught at the Santa Barbara location; listed as only 3.3%abv. Dark gold-amber color with a slight haze. Blast of blueberry in the aroma with some wet straw and grain. Flavors of husky grains and very subtle blueberry. Pretty sweet and full flavored for the strength, and I like that the blueberry is almost undetectable in the flavor, but there is something odd about how prevalent it is in the aroma.

One of my favorite brews to have on draught. Pours a lovely clear amber colour, medium sized white head, and blueberry, floral and wheat aromas and nuances bursting out of the glass

Tap @ the YardHouse. Dark with little head... crisp taste of beer followed by a refreshing aftertaste of blueberries. Great blueberry aroma but does not over power the overall smell and taste of the brew.

Aroma – Great Blueberry aroma in this awesome fruit beer.
Appearance – Deep yellow in color, light head and clear.
Flavor – This had a great light blueberry flavor that added to this beer. It was enough for you to enjoy the beer and the flavor. The blueberry was near perfect in my opinion.
Palate – Had a easy drink feel and a great finish with a slight lingering blueberry flavor.
Overall – One of the best fruit beers I have ever had and I like fruit beers. This was good subtle and not over powering in huge fruit flavor. A great beer. Good Job SLO Brewing.

Had this beer on 2/11/1998. Color is a golden yellow with a haze to it, carbonation and head are low. The aroma is a sweet blueberry scent that reminds me of a blueberry cereal. Taste is the worst part about this beer, it starts with a crisp body and goes down a little sharp. The finish is the worst, leaving you with what I can best describe as a pepper taste, there is no sign of blueberry at all.
