Dec 25, 2002 I only gave it a high mark because I was pleasantly surprised. Fruit beers can really be fake in flavor sometimes. This beer tasted like real blueberries. It was almost peppery.

2008 – Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – Great Blueberry aroma in this awesome fruit beer.
Appearance – Deep yellow in color, light head and clear.
Flavor – This had a great light blueberry flavor that added to this beer. It was enough for you to enjoy the beer and the flavor. The blueberry was near perfect in my opinion.
Palate – Had a easy drink feel and a great finish with a slight lingering blueberry flavor.
Overall – One of the best fruit beers I have ever had and I like fruit beers. This was good subtle and not over powering in huge fruit flavor. A great beer. Good Job SLO Brewing.
