StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 6, 2006 Tap @ the brewery. Transparent. It’s a bright bronze looking glass with a cellophane sheet threatening to go under at any minute. Fierce honey corn chastises the nose, along with dextrose on cornflakes, and fruity elements of sweet mango and strawberry shortbread. Flavor goes in a familiar direction. Glossy, washy nightmare. Cornmeal in liquid form. Honeydew glazed with honey ripples and maple sugaring from fatty donut batter. Biscuit malt and table sugar sweetness. Orange blonde honey in solventless format. Alcohol hotness is like sweet corn with covertly imbedded pablano peppers. High final gravity lends little but glassy swerves amidst a maple cardboard base.
