2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nothing in the aroma. Looks okay. This is just blase to me. Not very crisp or tingly, but no lager funk at least. It’s drinkable but that’s about all.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at the brewpub. Straw color with good clarity and a creamy white head that leaves some lingering foam. Bread and crackers in the aroma with a grassy, spicy and herbaceous touch. A slight whiff of sulfur makes an appearance before the hops sweet it away. So far I’m really into this. The flavor is light but has good bready malt definition and a savory spicy hop flavor into the finish and a little lingering bitterness. Good balance, great hop and malt flavors and a flawless presentation overall. This is one of the best pilsners at 4.2% that I’ve had. Perfect for the hot late summer season here right now.
