Amber pour with an off-white head. Floral and somewhat fruity hops. Light ester profile, toast, toffee, and bread. Somewhat bland, unfortunately. The flavor isn’t all that impressive either. Bread, toffee, and toasted malt base to this one. A light floral and citrus peel hop profile, mild fruit esters add some sweetness.

Not much in the aroma. Definitely red in color. This is fairly average but almost on the boring side. Very eh.

Draft at SLO! Nose of caramel and wheaty sweetness. Clear amber with a small white head. Flavor is caramel. some sweetness, and a hint of bitterness in the background.

OK. I cut and pasted this part from my other ratings at SLO brewing: "Tried at the brewpub in downtown Paso Robles after a day of visiting wineries. Man, the wineries ROCK here. What an awesome day. What a better way to finish off the day than to sit down with a sampler platter of ice cold uber-crappy beer." On to the beer: Cloudy red amber color. Something off in the taste. Yuk. Kind of like sucking on a dishrag.

Draught at the Santa Barbara location. Deep red color with a small head. Toasty malt and caramel aroma with a hint of tea. Sweet toasty caramel malt flavors with crisp hops balancing the finish out. Light and crisp body. Nice, malty, and flavorful, though lacking and frills.
