mar (505), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 10, 2008 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. dark murky gold pour with a nice white head. great blend of spices and malts on the nose. slight hop bitterness in the finish with a fruity flavor. Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England Jul 8, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Ealing Beer Festival. Orange amber with an excellent off white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with some strong biscuity malt. Typical De Graal flavour with that slight infected note. Very fruity. Nothing special but certainly one of their better beers. sayravai (2992), Helsinki, Finland Jul 6, 2008 (Bottled, BBE 06/2009) Hazy amber with a medium, foamy head and some lace. Mild and somewhat dull aroma with caramely malt and hints of vegetables. Fruity, caramely maltiness, grassy hops, some acidity, and hints of alcohol in the flavor - certainly doesn’t feel like an IPA, or even very hoppy for a Belgian Ale. Medium-bodied, quite foamy and carbonated palate. Seems like my bottle was not in its best shape, as I know what De Graal is capable of... Rerate pending. skortila (2355), Bunnik, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Bottled. Aroma has malts hops and some fruits. Cloudy, orange coloured with a white head. Taste is a bit sweet, fruity, has spice and has some yeast. Didn’t impress me much. caesar (2444), Zeist, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy orange color, short head. Aroma of soft hop, bit fruity. Slight bitter taste. Hmm, have to rerate, cant remember too much.
